Car Seats.. and Why?

FTM here, looking at car seats! I’d love a travel system but not anything too bulky. Some friends tell me Britax passed higher safety ratings in the UK. What is your car seat recommendation ( or travel system with stroller) for newborns and why!? TIA!!

I HIGHLY recommend the Keyfit 30 car seat and the Keyfit Caddy. Very affordable, safe, super light weight and easy to use by yourself. I also research and it was one of the safest car seats according to Consumer Reports. I believe it is by Chicco.

I have the chicco car seat and instead of the stroller I got the caddy which is lighter and not bulky like a stroller my car seat snaps right into it.

Britax! Its a bit heavy, but I like how deep it is, and that the bases come with the anti-rebound bar! I have a Britax stroller as well, which is super lightweight and easy to maneuver. Police officer approved 👌🏼

I have a maxi cosi convertible car seat as well as the nuna PIPA infant verse at. Both are amazing!

I have had chicco for 3 of my kids and now I'm considering a britax or a nuna pipa. But let me tell you the chicco has never disappointed me the only reason I'm aching it is because I want to try something new that's all but overall they are great not too bulky or heavy and I don't think the prices are outrageous either good luck in your hunt 👍👍

I have britax and like it because it’s soo deep, but I hate that I can’t just clip it on a stroller, it needs a special bar. I also had a graco and I like too because it can clip on multiple strollers and it is lighter then the britax.

I have loved everything I’ve tried from graco and it’s very affordable. I know there are some higher end brands that are probably higher rated but I couldn’t make the price points work!
