Owning daycare and taking maternity leave
So I’m working on getting my license to start an in-home daycare. I’m doing this so that I can be with my daughter and work on having a second child.
My husband pointed out that it may be better for me to stay working at my current job until I have my second child because it will be hard to close the daycare to take maternity leave. He is also worried that I won’t qualify for disability if I don’t have a “real job”.
Anyone have experience with this? Looking for advice.
