When do you ovulate after you hit peak?

My clear blue digital showed peak, but my cheapie didn’t show positive. I don’t know which is more reliable (cheapie doesn’t even have a brand just says ovulation test)
And do I actually ovulate after the digital showed my peak? As in 12-36 hours like people say? I don’t know how often I should be BD, we have been BD for almost 2 straight weeks minus one day in the first week before my fertile window.

Answer

Once you get a positive, ovulation will occur within 12-36 hours. And the egg - once released - will be viable for 12-24 hours. But I always say to BD every OTHER day until you get a positive opk. Then once you get a positive opk, BD that day and the 2-3 days after.
