Bleeding after orgasm

Something terrifying happened this weekend and I’m wondering if it’s ever happened to anyone else. I’m 11 weeks pregnant btw.

I was masturbating (no penetration). When I climaxed, all of a sudden I felt extremely wet and wondered if I had peed myself. When I stood up out of bed, the sheets were soaked in bright red blood. Blood was also pouring out from me.

I was horrified and went immediately to emergency. After a lot of waiting and some scans, they said baby is doing fine and the placenta is intact.

Has something similar happened to anyone else? I’m really freaked out and want to make sure that doesn’t happen again. Thanks <3
