Are DR’s tests more sensitive than a FR?

I’ve had 4 vvv faint positives on one step strips and did a first response yesterday morning which I also had a very faint positive on. I called my DR to request a blood test and he basically said no and that he will do a urine test. Although that has come out negative. So are First response tests more sensitive that DR’s?

No a blood test is going to tell you more than a pregnancy test will if you happen to be one of the women that just don’t get a positive test at home. They make you wait about a month after your first missed period before doing a blood test. Maybe wait a couple more days and test again.

Doctors use urine tests that are cheaper than the FR but a blood test is the most accurate so if your blood test was negative then your most likely not
