I’m 38 weeks today and found out this morning that my baby is frank breech. My midwife said I have a good amount of amniotic fluid and that an ecv might be a good idea to get him turned. After researching online I’m starting to lean towards a scheduled c section to avoid going into labor before he’s flipped, or going into labor if the flip is unsuccessful. What are your experiences, advice, or just anything to help right now. I’m really worried about going into labor when he’s breech. She also said that I’m 1cm dilated and that my cervix felt thin.

Update: we decided not to do the ecv because we don’t want to distress our little squish! Our c-section is scheduled for four days from now! I’m so excited. Feeling less nervous as the days go by waiting for his arrival.
