Sleeping too much?

My daughter is 6 weeks today, and she’s been sleeping ALL DAY. I have to wake her up to feed her. I’m not sure if she’s hitting a growth spurt or? She has rice in her formula (doctors orders) and I really want to cut back/stop cause she just sleeps so much. But she has really bad acid reflux and wasn’t putting on weight so she’s on Zantac 3x a day and 2-4 tsp of rice for her 4 oz bottle. (I do 2 tsp) but it seems to just knock her out 😭

has the crying and screaming stopped with the zantac and thicker formula? .. it’s been a week and i see a small change in my baby. how long did it take for tour baby to be out of pain on the medicine and formula combo? and do you put the zantac in the bottle? i keep wasting so much putting it in his mouth as he spits slot out lol

Can you try the rice just in the evening/night hours?

I was told by my doc to out in one to two tsp of rice in his milk. 2-4 seems like too much. Maybe try one or do rice in every other bottle.
