How do you know you've had an orgasm?

I'm 15 and a virgin. I've experimented with masturbation but I don't know if I'm feeling and orgasm or just intense pleasure this makes me feel like I have to try out sex to really be sure but I'm not in a relationship and I don't want any regrets. What should I do?

I get better orgasms masterbating instead of from sex. I think it is the same for many woman. The intense pleasure is the orgasm. It takes practice to get it from sex that I personally havnt nailed yet. But you could be one of the lucky ones who get them from sex quickly. Regardless I think you will be happy in the long run to wait.

When you have and orgasm you will most likely be aware of it as the pleasure will have a peak and then pretty much stop after that. Sometimes orgasms can have a very intense feeling of needing to pee, so that can be a sign of being close to an orgasm
