Don't want to give up on us

So ive been with my boyfriend for 7 months now im about to be 20 & he just turned 18😅Anywayss.. Ive fallen so in love with him...During the summer we probably spent everyday day ans night together.We would fight atleast 2 a month during this time so we decided it was best we just take some time away from eachother...He says the reason we fight a lot is because we see eachother too much..Well that makes me feel so unwanted and like he doesint even wanna be with me..He says he loves me a lot and want to be with me..I even suggested we just be friends and he say he didint want that but how can my own boyfriend love me and be annoyed by me??
