A1c debate...its a long question but stick with it!!ππ
Me and my husband are debating one whether to start trying to concieve with an a1c at 7.5. I started at 10.1 and within 8 weeks have brought it down to the 7.5. My dr says they'd prefer it documented at 6.5 or less. Now it hasn't been a full 3 months ( blood turn over is 90 days so I still have old 10.1 a1c blood in me) I know I've been averaging 120 to 130 bg range or less so I think a low enough a1c isnt showing because I haven't hit 3 months yet. That being said can 1 point really make that much difference If i do in fact get pregnant right this instance which is unlikely being I'm 35 but could be a miracle. Anyone have any opinions to help me figure this out. Btw I have an appt next Friday but my fertile week is this week so If i wait this month will be out and I'll have to wait until October to start trying if i get the go ahead next week by some other miracle
