Does he have feelings for me more than just a friend?

So I’ve had this friend for over a year now (he’s one of my boyfriend’s best friends), and he and I have become pretty close. For my birthday this year, he told me that he had gotten me something and when I asked why and told him that he didn’t need to do that, his response was, “You’re the only girl in our friend group so now I have someone to buy presents for.” The present was a signed picture of one of my favorite hockey players (and I did get him a birthday present in return). Also, this might sound cliche, but every time we go somewhere (our friend group) he always opens my car door for me. So is this a sign, or is he just being chivalrous? I have gotten a hunch that he may like me, but I’m unsure because could he just be being nice since I’m his best friend’s girlfriend? These are just a few scenarios of things that have happened.
