Glyburide for fasting BS
For ladies that take glyburide to help with their fasting numbers, does your doc have you taking it with dinner or at bedtime with a snack? Last night was my first dose, 2.5 mg, to be taken with dinner. My 2 hour post dinner number was 101. An hour later I started to feel funny so I checked again and I'd dropped to 68. I was concerned I'd continue to drop quickly and have issues so I had a snack before going to sleep. This morning my fasting number was 108, no better than usual! However, it was about 11 hours between taking the glyburide and when I woke up, so I'm thinking that's just too long (as it clearly worked to bring my BS down before I went to sleep) so I'm thinking tonight I'll take it right before bed. Any thoughts or experience with this issue?
