Can a baby sleep like this? Arching back and head back?

My son is 8 weeks and keeps going back to this position. Its 2 am here and I'm awake and worried about it. Hes so young still and I know should sleep on his back. I keep fixing him but goes right back. 
Idk if you can fell but hes almost completely on his side with his head arched back.

My daughter sleeps like this. Scares the crap out if me...she looks possessed 😂

My son never stayed on his back, he always slept on the side. I asked our pediatrician and he said it's fine, can't force him to stay on the back anyway. I'd be more worried if he was on his tummy, the way he's lying seems fine to me bases on my own experience. Just keep blankets, stuffed animals etc. away from him.

My daughter is a little over 3 weeks old and has rolled onto her side since the day we brought her home from the hosptial. Her doctor said there's nothing to worry about as long as she's in a safe sleep space and if I'm swaddling her to make sure it's tight.
