Gender u/s@6 months?

Does anyone else have to wait til they are 6 months to find out? I asked before I was 5 months for the ultrasound as soon as it was available but the Dr had barely ordered it this Wednesday I went for an appt. My next appt is not u til next month and I'm not even sure if I will find put then 😑 can I call the clinic and ask for it sooner?

Update: so I am definitely going to have my scan at the beginning of my 6 months. It's a lil frustrating since this is the first time I have had to wait this long 😭 And I think I am most emotional bc it's my last baby ( funny story this baby was a total surprise bc he/she was not planned at all. We were going to wait til the youngest was 5 yrs old so I could really get to enjoy my last pregnancy, but I thank God for my lil big miracle 🥰)
