Started my period today and holiday monday

I started my period today (Friday) and i go on holiday on Monday. Was really looking forward to getting in the pool but i have such a heavy flow i was wondering everyones opinion on whats the best action. I’m only away for a week and my flow normally lasts 11 days (working with my doctor about that)

So should I stay out of the pool or something else
