Infertile??

Im 18. My bf is 18. Me and him live together and have been together for 1 year and 3 months. We have sex without condoms all the time. But I've never gotten pregnant. I've had sex before I got with him without a condom and still didn't get pregnant. Could I be infertile? I want to have a baby sometime soon but I'm worried I can't.

I've been with my husband 1 year and 7 months, and we NEVER had safe sex. We didn't get pregnant for a long time and we were having sex everyday. Then finally, 2 months ago, my period was late and I found out I was pregnant! :)

I talked to my doctor about infertility too, but she said since my periods were regular, I was probably find, but if I was really worried, she suggested that he get tested first because is easier and way less expensive to check the guy. All he has to do is provide a cum sample - it's more complicated to test a lady.

Bottom line, don't assume you're infertile. Use protection and get your man tested asap. Couples who are trying to have a baby usually have to try for a least one year before getting pregnant, so getting pregnant is not so easy in the first place. But if you're not ready for a baby, you should take care of yourselves.

I think the fact you're both 18 and only been together a year is crazy to want a child but that's just me. Anyways if your really worried a doctor will tell u, not anyone on here. U could just be getting lucky not getting pregnant and it could very well not be good timing.

It took me a year to get pregnant. No birth control or anything. Sometimes it takes awhile. Maybe try ovulation tests and checking temps and stuff to see if you are ovulating. If you want to wait a little bit, make sure to use protection, because it's still possible.

I'm the same, I had my last injection at the beginning of May, it made me bleed and I was on the pill until July and me and my boyfriend haven't had safe sex since and I've never fallen pregnant so I'm scared about fertility too

It says right here in the nhs text after a depo shot it could take up to 10 months for you to be able to become pregnant again, nothing to worry about

If you've been on birth control before hand it might be the fact that it's still in your system and will take a while to drain out, if not go to the doctors they'll check you, might not be you it could be him.
