Why? There's no need for that, especially that young! IDC who's kid it is, that's just too damn much too soon!

You should never use chemicals in a child's head. That being said, putting streaks of color and what not is different. There are a lot of vegan and chemical free brands out there that are completely safe. My cousin has been using it on her daughter maybe once every 6 months or so since she was probably 3 or 4. It washes out in a few washes and she likes being able to pick her own color.

IF they want them and it is safe dye. I would never bleach a child's hair though. But putting in some of that baby safe dye would be fine.

My 9-year-old had been bugging me forever to put some funky coloured streaks in her hair cause some of her friends have had them for years. I’ve always told her a firm NO until she’s in high school. We finally compromised...my sister-in-law is a hair stylist and she ordered some blue and blonde extensions that just kind of sew into her hair, so I surprised her for her birthday this year. She was so happy! They last for about 3 months if well taken care of and no damage to the hair or chemicals used.

I wouldn’t only because I’d wanna keep their hair healthy BUT I don’t think you should be shunned for it
