Need some advice

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant since April. I went to the doctor for a well woman check and shared our hopes of getting pregnant and everything checked out, I’m healthy and everything looks fine apparently. We bought a sperm test on Amazon and my husband seems to be fine as well. What could be happening? When should we consider other options? What are our other options? Also I’ll add that I’ve been peeing on ovulation sticks and the line hasn’t ever been darker than the control line, it gets darker in comparison to other tests but never darker than the control, regardless we’ve had sex every 1-3 days for the past 3 months or so. From January to June my periods have been consistent/normal. At the end of June my period was 2 weeks late (that’s when I went to doctor) and since then my cycle has been irregular. Someone help me with some advice :)
