Positive pregnancy test 2 weeks before period?

Hi everyone, I tend to have irregular periods so started using this app and checking my cm. My breasts have felt SO tender and sensitive for nearly two weeks so yesterday I did a test and it said 1-2 weeks pregnant! Any chance it could be wrong? Scared of getting my too excited too early

A false positive is possible but unlikely. Take another with fmu!

It’s unlikely a false positive. To show up on a digital HCG needs to present in a reasonable volume too. If you’re 1 to 2 weeks that means you ovulated between 7-14 days ago. That’s essentially 3-4 weeks pregnant.

I disagree with the other commenter. False positives are definitely possible... If your periods are irregular maybe you ovulated close after your period? I would check with your doctor to get it confirmed by a blood drawn. Good luck!
