BBT rise this morning and positive lh tests same day?

I’ve been charting my temps this month (first month every day) today I had a rise in temperature but I hadn’t yet had positive lh test. Now my lh tests are soaring. From what I’ve read I assumed I’d get the positive lh tests a couple of days before the temp rise? I’m totally confused right now 🙈

Make sure to log them every day, and don’t take them in the morning, as they aren’t as accurate then and will often read lower then.
Usually you ovulate 12-24 hours after a positive, up to 36 hours later. Therefore it’s very possible to ovulate the same day as a true positive. Your most recent temp does look like you probably ovulated yesterday, but can’t confirm for two more days. Keep going!
