I gave birth 13 days ago now and it seems my blood stinks. I was under the impression the smell should be like a period but this smells so bad. I had stitches on my clitoris, urinary hole and inside my vagina so I am too afraid to pull back the skin to clean it with my hands. I literally spray the shower head down there and hope it cleans away any blood etc.

I feel like I stink all the time and I dont know whether it’s down to an infection internally (had my stitches checked a few times and have been told they are healing fine) or whether the smell is normal?

I never wore pads when on my period in the past either as I didn’t like feeling sweaty down there so would always use tampons and I would wash everyday with femfresh.

I also can’t wipe when I pee, I have to pat which is so annoying!

Could it be through my vagina not being able to breath properly with the pads and stuff? Is anyone feeling the same?? 😟
