Braxton Hicks or Real Deal?

I'm so annoyed about these on and off contractions. It's been 3 days of this! I'm only 34 weeks so I really don't think it's the real deal. And I hate waiting in triage, as it takes 2 hours to get through it, just to be told to "drink more water" and put my feet up. I've had close to a gallon today already! Here's a photo of what I've been feeling the past 30 minutes.

I had 4+ hours of consistent Braxton hicks all 3 minutes apart, and all lasting a minute aside from 1 which was 3 minutes. I didn't even bother calling my doctor because I knew it wasn't labor. There was no pain, and they didn't progress at all. Early labor contractions start at roughly 10 minutes apart. I drank water, ate a snack, took my dogs for a walk, took a shower. If you're worried go in, but I personally wouldn't be. I had an appointment Friday at 34+1 and my doctor said Braxton hicks are going to pick up because my body is getting ready for labor. She said at this point even the 4 hour bout I had was nothing to worry about. Just prep work for the real thing. I wouldn't go. My doctor said she didn't blame me for not going, and that I'll know the difference when it comes. With all that being said if you are worried go to the hospital or at least call.

I’m 32 4 weeks and I’m having contractions that look the same. My ob said it’s normal because it’s our body getting ready and they should be making us either thin or dilate hopefully. But as long as they aren’t 6 in one hour or consistent they aren’t nothing to worry about.

I’m 35weeks & have been in the same boat for the past 3days! I drink tons of water too.. I haven’t called because I know they’ll say it’s not the real deal😩

Oh man, my Braxton Hicks have been crazy intense for this pregnancy. Today has been allllll day. I feel them in my legs and my upper back. BUT they don’t feel like contractions at all (at least for me). No pain, just crazy discomfort. I take a bath and that can give me some relief. I have a hard time keeping liquids down because of my terrible indigestion and heartburn, so I know I’ve had a hard time staying hydrated. Hopefully just another 3 weeks or so and we can get the real thing going. It’s exhausting!

I had these for 2 days last weekend. I ended up calling at like 11pm last Saturday. They told me to try to sleep. If it was the real deal I wouldn’t be able to sleep through the pain. I did that and had them again the next day and started ignoring them. I’ve had them all week but not nearly as much. Maybe one an hour. I honestly think I was so worried and focused on them that I kept having them more and more. Once I stopped thinking about them I stopped getting them as much. I’m 32+5 today.
