Anyone know how to read ultrasounds?

Had a couple of images showing these markings. Tech did ask me at one point if I have endometriosis which I don’t. But when I was younger, I was told I had a cyst. Does anyone know what she was measuring to the right of the first pic and pointing out in the second pic? Haven’t heard from my Dr so thinking no news is good news. But I do often get sore spots on my abdomen when I stand too fast or move a certain way. 8.5 weeks with my 4th pregnancy (1 live birth).
