Reflux

Can someone describe what reflex is like (looks/smells) in a newborn who is EBF? My baby is 8 weeks and for the last 2 weeks have been spitting up much larger amounts. I hold her up after feeding but this doesn’t really seem to help. She isn’t in pain when it happens (seems very content) and it’s not necessarily after feeding. Laying down in bed often causes it. She is gaining weight well and has an appropriate number of diapers. We are seeing the doctor Tuesday but was wondering if anyone else’s baby had a similar issue.
