Missed a few pills and now having a period?

I had missed taking my pills the 3rd, 4th, and 5th. I decided to just roll with not taking the pill and I’d start a new pack either today or tomorrow. I’ve had some cramping and started, what seems like, my normal period bleeding. What I’m wondering is if this is normal after “stopping” the pill? Am I having a period right now or is this some kind of breakthrough bleeding?
