Today at work a customer asked me this question: "hey Hun, do you have a bun in the oven?" I replied with: "yes I do!" And he said "well thank God, I just thought you were really fat." Like what in the hell. I had nothing to say. Is there an appropriate way to ask a woman if she is pregnant? 😡

I went out for dinner with my husband ( I wasn't pregnant) and the guy that seated us said 'Oh is someone going to be a mum?' I just looked at him and said no and he nearly died of embarrassment  and gave me a free t-shirt.  Unless someone is having a baby right in front of you, don't ask them if they're pregnant why can't people understand that?

What you are supposed to ask is "do you have any kids yet"?  Normally most pregnant ladies would say no buy 1 on the way, or yes and 1 on the way or just yes I have some at home.  That's the secret way I've heard to ask to not offend.  Haven't been asked that b4 but it sounds pretty good. 😊

There is only one appropriate way for someone to do so: don't ask and don't assume. If someone wants someone to know about the state of their uterus, they'll tell them. I'm sorry that happened to you. That was really rude of him.

I've had someone ask me if I was pregnant (in front of other people) when I most clearly was NOT pregnant. I was 130 lbs and 5'5". I was really really hurt tho and so embarrassed!!!! After that I realized, it's never appropriate to ask someone if they are pregnant... even if you are 99% positive they are. It's just really rude and hurtful.
