for those unsure if you’re having Braxton Hicks / period cramps ...

I’m 35+5. I went to L&D last night after not feeling baby move as much all day. They did a fetal monitor and baby is just fine!

However - they did tell me that I am having contractions irregularly every 5-10 minutes and I couldn’t feel any of them. They asked if I was having BH and I said I didn’t think I was (have never really felt a true contracting feeling or anything in my stomach/bump), but that I had been noticing period pains on and off through the day. They said the period pains ARE BH contractions and I could clearly see that on the monitor too. Just wanted to pass along that tidbit for everyone else who I’ve seen posting about not being sure if they were having any!
