When did y’all stop working ?

I’m 36 weeks pregnant and I work at a medical clinic I usually just sit but sometimes patients can make me a little stressed. I’m scheduled to work 6 days next week but I feel like asking my doctor if he thinks I should just rest. He is getting a little worried about my BP getting high which is in the 137’s so I feel like he will tell me it’s fine but I’m unsure what to tell our manager 😑

I worked until I was forced onto bed rest, 10/10 don’t recommend. I pushed my body to hard and I ended up stuck in bed for a month, which made it hard for my body to naturally do its thing, cause I couldn’t walk or do anything. I had to be induced. 
Don’t overdo it, it is not worth it. 
If you feel you need to stop, listen to your body. Everyone is going to be different, some can work till the day the baby comes out, some have to take leave a month before the due date. It really depends on you. Just don’t ignore what your body is telling you.

I stopped working today! It’s my first day of maternity leave and I’m 36 weeks. I woke up to a leg cramp and a bloody nose which has never happened. Lol. I then realized my body was finally giving up and letting me know I made the right decision to stop working. I think every working woman should take time off before having a baby unless they can’t afford to financially. We deserve it and we really need that mental time to prepare for the biggest change of our lives. Good luck and get that time off girl!!!

39 weeks because winter vacation started. I felt good all the way until 40 weeks until I went in for an induction.
