First appointment not until October 25th?!

Just had my first positive test yesterday at 10DPO!  This is my first pregnancy.  I called the doctor and they said as long as nothing’s going wrong they don’t schedule until 8-10 weeks, so my appointment isn’t until 10/25.  Is that how it is for everyone else?  Seems like ages away.

Ugh Girl! I feel you! I see everyone posting about how they’re 6 weeks and some change going in for ultrasounds and stuff and I’m so jealous. I found out I was pregnant like 2 days after my missed period and I have to wait until Oct 2nd for my ultrasound making me 9 weeks and some change. So I totally understand the waiting game. It’ll eat there though! If you feel like anything is wrong you can always go to the ER! Better safe than sorry and they will check for baby. Good luck mama, and congrats!

I’ll be 8 weeks sept 30 and my appt is oct 1st, it would kill me to wait till 10 weeks! Who am I kidding, waiting now is killing me hahahahhahhahah

I got my BFP Monday and I have an appointment with the midwife on the 9th October x

It’s very normal. I am actually surprised at all the moms going in at 6 weeks, but i guess it just depends on the doctor

Mine has me come in for a urine test  to verify & schedules an ultrasound & a check up/pap smear for the following week. I’ve never made it to the check up because I miscarried a day after my first ultrasound but she told me it would take like 2 hours.

I found out I was pregnant on 9/8 w/at home test. Then did blood work on 9/9 to confirm. Today 9/11 I’m doing my intake appt. Which is more blood work, meet with a financial consultant. They also scheduled my 1st ultrasound and ob visit on Sept. 26. I should be 8wks by then. It does seem like a long time but it will go fast.
