Baby cereal?

So my Sophia just turned 5 months on the 4th. My mom was texting me and tell me shes ready for the baby cereal(baby oatmeal?) I'm not sure if she is, I think shes got teeth coming in but i cant quite tell. Shes been eating 6 oz and still wanting more even if I put rice in it so I just wanted some opinions on if I should try it or not

I wouldnt have even put rice in the bottle, it’s unnecessary and has no benefits.
All major health organizations recommend 6 months for anything other than bm or formula

My sons dr had me start fruits and veggies at 4months because he acted like he needed more then formula.

Putting anything but formula into a bottle is very dangerous. Formula +water =correct quantities for organs to digest. Adding any solids alters that and the organs can't digest it properly.
Definitely a no in UK.

You can start as long as everything is very blended and watery . You don’t have to of course if you think she isn’t ready . It’s entirely up to you if you choose to do so.
