What’s the perfect bottle?

Question

Criteria 
- doesn’t leak
- doesn’t have extra parts (no bags or vents) 
- comes in small size and big size (4 oz bottles and 8 oz bottles) 
Baby will be formula fed from birth if that matters. Please no comments about breastfeeding or pumping.

I liked how simple the Tommee tippee closer to nature bottles were! I don’t know if they have a 4 oz size because I only had 8 oz ones. They do have a version with anti colic vents but that’s not what I had.

Avent! Great quality, easily accessible (Walmart, Kroger, drug stores, dollar store even sells them), we never had a single Avent bottle leak!

My babe loves Comotomo bottles... less parts, easy to clean, and never leaks.
I would say the only downside is that it takes longer to warm up since it’s silicone but my girl doesn’t mind room temp or cold milk.

You really have no idea until you try them. My current nanny kiddo started with Como Tomo which everyone swears by. When I met him at 4 months old he had been avoiding bottle feeding for anyone that tried to feed him. I mentioned his intake was way too low and maybe we should try a different brand. We had Medela bottles sitting around from mom pumping and he took to those in about 5 seconds. Now at 5 months old when he sees the bottle coming he sits there with his mouth wide open. 
Every baby I’ve been with over the past 10 years has had a specific bottle to them, nothing across the board that ‘works’ for everyone. 
You might not want extra parts but Dr. Brown bottles might be the only thing that keeps your baby from spitting up. Don’t count anything out just yet.

We like MAM. I would try and get some samples from registries to try. The 4 ounce seems pointless to me they only use them for a month or two.

It’s trial and error really. Just get one of several brands and after a few tries u will m ow which one works best for baby
