Did it the 2 nights ago blacked out drunk  in a text 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️  i read my texts the next morning and this was our exact convo
Me :( 2am) i think im in love with you
Me :(9am) oh shit.. 
Me : delete !!!
Me : delete it all!!!
Me : oh god im so embarrassed.. 
Him : good morning drunk drunky pants

Him : calm down, you act like i didnt already know this

Me and my bf we’re together for 6 months and had a habit of saying “guess what” to eachother and saying ridiculous shit as our answer we are always joking around. so one night in bed after he had a bad day i was trying to cheer him up, I whispered guess what in his ear, he’s guessing things I may have got him to make him feel better. his first guess was there’s ice cream in the freezer, no so his second guess was I bought new lingerie (lmao) no so he says he gives up and I say very seriously “i love you” His reaction and shock was still to this day one of my favourite memories, says he has never been more surprised. Turns out he had felt that way for a little while but was too scared to say it because he didn’t think I felt the same. We hit 3 years last month 😊

We had been dating for about 3 months, we had just gotten done fooling around and he was walking me to my car when I blurted out
“Is it too early for me to say I’m in love with you?” 😆
He swears he said it first because he said “Of course it’s okay! I love you!”
I still think if I hadn’t promoted it, it wouldn’t have happened that early- so I’m sure it was me LOL.

It doesn’t matter who it is when I hang up the phone I always say “later dawg love ya” or “Love you bye” it’s a habit I tell everyone that I’m close to because it can always be the last and so like the 2nd time I ever talked on the phone with my boyfriend I just said “later dawg love ya” and then hung up the phone before he said anything and my sister was like “DID YOU JUST TELL HIM YOU LOVED HIM?” And I was like yeah I say it to everyone, ( like one time a college recruiter called me and I hung up saying love you bye) but yeah after that he texted me and said “I love too “Dawg”” and after that we’ve always said I love you or some form of it. Everyone makes such a big deal about saying it too early or what not but like if you love someone tell them🤷🏻‍♀️

He told me after we had been dating for a month. Our third date we got pretty tipsy and were talking about kids. We were sitting on the porch in the dark just talking and he said “I love you. I have loved you since the first night we met” ( I had met him a year prior when he was visiting from out of state for a weekend) fastforward 13 years and two kids later, still as much in love as the first day

This is ridiculous of me but I’ll own up to it. I started dating my husband when I was 13 and I had the biggest crush on him for months before we started “dating”. The day he asked me out 13 year old me thought I should be telling him I loved him before we ended the phone convo. He said it back but I don’t think either of us really meant it in a sentimental way. We’ve said it ever since and I don’t really regret that but as a 30 year old I have to laugh when I read posts like this and how naive I was to what love is.
