Glucose test question...?

Has anyone taken their glucose test for gestational diabetes yet?? How many fluid oz is that drink you have to drink and is it warm? I’m PANICKING!!! I don’t want to throw up or be nauseous!!!!!

I just did mine this week! People scared me and made it sound horrible, it honestly just tasted like orange soda and didn’t make me sick at all. And I got results and found out I passed within 24 hours. Mine was cold. People scared me but like, I didn’t think it was bad at all? Lol just like orange soda!

I honestly think they're fairly good. Just sweet. They're not like syrup anymore. It's like really sweet Gatorade. Its only a small bottle. Like 8oz I think

They ask to eat protein only something before the drink. It will help you not to feel dizzy or nausea...

My doctor gave me my drink and lab orders at my last appointment for the 1 hour glucose test. Said to put it in fridge so it’s cold and take it sometime between 26-28 weeks. I was instructed to eat a protein only breakfast, 1.5 hours later drink the drink within 3 minutes, Then be at the lab 45 minutes later for a blood draw at 1 hour after finishing the drink. I’m not sure of the actual ounces but it was probably 8-10. 
Did that on Monday (26w6d) and found out today that I passed. 
I actually liked the taste of the drink, would have preferred to have drank it slower rather than chug it though! Mine was orange flavored and tasted like the orange drink I remember drinking at McDonalds as a kid. I didn’t get dizzy or nauseous or anything after drinking it. 
The lab then warned me to avoid fruit, yogurt and other foods that have higher sugar until later in the day.

They give it to you cold. And no matter what , that much sugar is gross so expect to be nauseous. You get to sit and sip on water the whole time. Don’t worry. It passes.

Mine was cold but so sweet and thick that it tasted like pure syrup. The only way I could get through it was to hold my nose and chug it as fast as I could.

I did the drink with my first pregnancy
This pregnancy I did the one where you eat a meal 4 hours before. I liked it way better. I felt like I was going to pass out from not eating for so long.

I already took my 1 hour and failed then took my 3 hour (failed that one too) I believe you drink them in less than 5 minutes. And mine were cold. I think one was 50grams and the other 100. I fasted for both and still failed. I think it depends on your doctor I’ve seen people fast and others haven’t.
