Inurable Diaper Rash?

Question

My little girl has had a patchy red rash on her tush since she came home from the hospital. So about 4/5 weeks.

I've slathered diaper rash creams on her (aquaphor, desitin, calmoseptime, butt paste).

Went to the pediatrician and he gave us an Rx for a yeast infection. 7 days later, that hasn't worked at all...it actually looks worse.

Anyone else going through something similar?

Try A&D ointment. It's cheap and available everywhere. I put some on my son every morning and he's never had a diaper rash.

Same thing with my little girl! She even got blisters... I tried everything and it just got worse. I decided to just use baby powder (Johnson & Johnson with aloe, the pure cornstarch one) and her rash cleared up overnight!

My dr gave me "puppy pads" those blue pads that go under you during check ups so he could air out on them. That seems to work the best for us

If it's a yeast infection give any type of PLAIN yogurt a try. Dab a little on every time. I don't use all that diaper toxic crap. If it's dry then use coconut oil. With in a day or two will work wonders and look different!! Yogurt has acilphiidus- a probiotic.

Don't know if you're breast feeding but saw on another site a woman used her breast milk and it cleared up a strange rash on her babies bottom!

I went throw the same thing with a yeast infection with my little one. The Pediatrician prescribed Nystatin ointment twice a day. But she also recommend me to wash out the wipes with water to remove the chemicals, very important dry out the baby butt after wiping and apply desityn mixed with corn starch to make it thicker. I did all that and next day the rash seem much better.

I use essential oil diaper rash/owie spray the creams were causing a blister and with the spray it was gon in a day and a half :)

Try the Honest Company a Diaper Rash Cream. We got it the other day for LO's rash & it was gone later that day. No kidding!! Her butt was red & felt kind of "calloused," after using the cream for 2 changes, the calloused-ness gone & by that night, the red was gone. It is great!!

Try plain yogurt if there's any bumps. Try earths best, panda, or seventh generation chlorine free diapers or cloth diapers. Use coconut oil for dryness factor. Screw toxic materials. Diaper cream is to be used sparingly and change to a different diaper  perhaps?!
