i am a healthy 21 year old, never had any serious health conditions ever and now i am 26 weeks and a day. i am originally due december 18th 2019z 3 days ago i was admitted to my ob for sever preeclampsia. my blood pressure was so high it was getting into stroke area, my platelets are extremely low, and the worst is the amount of proteins in my urine. the normal amount to have when having preeclampsia is around 300 my count was 17,000... my OB says in the last 20 years she’s never seen someone who has had such high protein levels. they have given me steroid shots to help my little mans lungs but the high risk pregnancy ob says that she thinks the only reason my platelets haven’t sunk any lower is because of the steroid shots and once those get out of my system which could be in the next 24 hours i could be having my first son. she said she’d be surprised if i made it through the weekend without delivering him via c section. he also his having growth restrictions due to my sever preeclampsia and hasn’t grown in almost 2 weeks but all his organs and everything else is at a 26 week old gestational age he’s just 2 weeks smaller. I am utterly freaking out and feel like everything in the last 24 hours has just unraveled me.
