Why do men in particular hate promiscuous women

Paternity issues throughout history maybe ?! Property reasons?! Thou shall not covet thy neighbors wife, house, or land etc....Or better yet men love to sleep with hoes but hate them cuz they don't "respect" themselves. Well how can u lose respect for someone that u choose to sleep with and open you bloodstream up to? People say women hate promiscuous women but it's in the core of men plz explain.

I have absolutely no problem with women exploring their sexualities, and judge no woman based on how many people she has slept with, and yet, I am the woman who takes pride in how many people I have not slept with.  It's wierd to me that even me as a woman I have these thoughts like, oh, it's ok that my boyfriend slept with 25+ women but it's not ok for me as a woman to have. It's bizarre and I think it might be because I was raised by my grandparents..? I just find it so strange that I'm so very biased on myself as a woman..

Ughhh I know what you mean by "how can you not respect someone you chose to sleep with" This really gets me heated and is also a major relation to slut shamming which is why I'm all against it ! Women shouldn't be ashamed of enjoying sex it's inequality isn't it ??? 😢
