“You Look Huge!” - Best way to respond?
I love my bump (a lot 🥰), I haven’t gained any more weight than I should, my baby and bump are measuring spot on for 29 weeks - so I know my baby & I are healthy & doing the right things... yet some people feel the need to voice their opinions (both to my face & behind my back) about how I “look huge.” I’ve heard it quite a few times already but it’s really, really started bothering me the last few days (thanks hormones). I’m assuming I’m not the only one dealing with this but how does everyone else respond?
Last night, for example, a woman who is an acquaintance had this conversation with me:
“How are you feeling??”
“Really good!! Tired today but overall feeling great!”
“That’s good- you look huge!” And then she laughed.
So I awkwardly laughed and just walked away because idk what else to say.

I don’t *think* these people have malicious intentions but just because I’m pregnant I don’t feel like they have a right to comment on my body just like they wouldn’t if I wasn’t pregnant! 🤦🏼♀️😒
