Pregnancy testing

Victoria

I see A LOT of women testing before their period is even due and then asking everyone if they see a line. Am I missing something? Is it a race to see who can find out the soonest? Is it really that important to test starting as soon after ovulation as you can? It seems like if you can wait until at least your period is due you will get a more accurate positive. I fell like I see so many people taking tests too soon, getting a bfn, and then giving up hope. It just doesn't make sense to me I guess. Take it from someone who has been through pregnancy 6 times, pregnancy doesn't seem like 1000 weeks if you wait until your period is at least due to test. Anyways, I would love to hear different perspectives (provided they are productive. No need to put down anyone, fight, call names, etc). I am genuinly curious. Not trying to make anyone feel bad or create drama.
