Is it ok to remove other people’s clothes from the washer/dryer if they are done?

A popular argument in my dorm which houses 3 communal washers and 3 communal dryers with over 600 students is the argument of if it’s all right to remove clothes from the washer/dryer if they’ve been left there when done. A lot of kids are blowing up over finding their clothes on the floor after they’ve left them in for a while while the other kids say they need to be removed as soon as they are done as other people need to use the facilities.

So, in your opinion, is it all right to remove them?

Bonus:

Does the time that they are left in after being done matter, or do you feel that if they are done for a minute they are fair game to be removed?

If you remove them, do you fold them, put them in a pile on another washer/dryer, or throw them on the floor? Or would you not remove them at all?
