Hymen?

2 days ago I was being fingered by my bf pretty aggressively and it hurt a bit but I didn’t really mind. when I went to the bathroom afterwards there was some blood when I wiped and I figured I’d just popped my cherry, no big deal. Since then I’ve been having some brown discharge, like the kind you get after your period, but I’m in the middle of my cycle so it’s not period related. I’m just wondering if this is related to the hymen, I feel like it isnt because the brown color means it’s old blood and not new blood? let me know if any of you have experienced similar please
