So me and my boyfriend (he drives truck I do not) are expecting our first child together. He has a son from a previous relationship.

How do you ladies deal with being on your own with the kids?

Is it just learning the routines and letting them know that their dad will be home as soon as he can?

Also, it has become apparent to me that there are not many other wives I can talk to in my area. I am so glad to find a group of ladies here.
