My sweet boy is one month old and was EBF but we have to switch to formula because I’m not producing enough milk for him anymore and my milk won’t catch up to his growth spurts and appetite. For days he was cluster feeding for more than four hours at a time. Poor baby was eating every thirty minutes for ten hours yesterday because he wasn’t getting full. He didn’t sleep at all during that time. I finally broke down and gave him formula and he fell asleep. Not sure why my milk supply couldn’t catch up, but I can’t help but feel bad because I really wanted to breastfeed. But I would rather have my baby have a full belly and sleep well.
