Waiting on NIPT results, husband has a Robertsonian Translocation

Has anyone been in a similar situation and can offer some positive advice or stories?

My husband has a Robertsonian Translocation of chromosomes 13 and 14. We met with a geneticist yesterday and while nothing she said was news to me I found the appointment was quite confronting and overwhelming. It almost felt like there is no chance of our babe being healthy.

We went ahead with the NIPT test and are now in the dreaded 48-72hr wait.

Has anyone been in a similar position and had a good outcome?
