When to increase ounces in bottle

Question

My 3 month old currently takes (6)  4oz bottles a day.  My question is when do I increase the amount in each bottle? How will I know she’s ready? If I increase, is it likely to help her sleep through the night because she’ll get more calories during the day?
Also with formula mixing, each scoop is 2 ounces, so should I go from 4 oz to 6 oz?  Or try to top off so that I can go to 5 ounces in between?  Thanks so much!

You'll know it's time to up the ounces when she still seems hungry once she's finished. If she's having 4oz, up it to 4 1/2oz or even 5. Don't jump by 2oz, half if it will probably go to waste. If she's finishing her bottle you could try offering another 1/2-1oz and see if she takes it.

My 3 month old takes 5 oz every 3 hours.  When she's done with her bottle if she's still fussy and showing hunger signs after 15 minutes then we try another oz. When she starts wanting another oz after every feeding then well just start with 6oz. That's what works for us.
