No NIPT suggested, under 35
Was the NIPT suggested to you despite being a low risk pregnancy? I’m 32 and my doctor said it was not a valid test for me since it hasn’t been studied in the under 35 population. Anyone with Kaiser (Nor Cal) able to get the test? I’m not sure if the doctor just can’t prescribe it or it would just not be covered and I’d have to pay out of pocket. I guess I should just ask but I hate being a busybody patient. I was too nervous at the time.
