I went 3 hours after baby was born.  Stool softener was a big help, I also didn't have any pain either.

I think it took about 4 days. It didn’t help that I was terrified to go to the bathroom because I’d heard that it feels like you’re giving birth a second time. While it did hurt it was not THAT bad. Drink water and eat fiber!

4 days and it took miralax, fiberplus drink, prunes, and prune juice. I had a c section after failed induction.

My situation was a little unique because I had a bad prolapsed rectum. I had to use an enema to get the first one going and that was about 3 days after giving birth. It hurt worse than my vagina did 😫

The next day, I got released after 24 hours and went at home just fine. Keep taking the colace... maybe try some coffee lol

I took stool softener the day after birth. I wasn’t hungry after birth and didn’t eat during labor for a day so that’s probably why I was constipated but you will find yourself praying as you go because it hurts and was hard to get out. It took me 3 days. Next time I am going to start taking stool softener 3 days before due date

4 days with my first and it wasnt fun. With my second it was like 3 hours and totally fine.

3 days and it sucked. Skip the colace entirely and go straight for the miralax! I was set on colace because it was what the hospital gave me but once I switch it was SO much better. Too bad it took me 8 weeks to switch. 😖
