Airplane Emergency Protocol

Now I know on airplanes they tell you that you have to put the mask on yourself and then help who ever is around you put on there’s. But I honestly feel like I was in that situation I’d rather put my child’s mask on first then my own. Just a random thought that popped into my head after reading an article, what would you guys do? Put the mask on yourself first or your child?
