Is fast metabolism really a thing?
Hi, I’m an underweight , around 88 pounds and 5’7. But I have always been skinny. I eat a lot and recently joined a gym. I have been told that a fast metabolism isn’t a “thing” and I can’t be burning calories faster than others. I counted calories in a log for a few days and most days I ate 1800, sometimes a lot more. If a fast metabolism isn’t a thing, then when don’t I gain weight? I am not over estimating how much I eat!
