7 1/2 hours?!

My little one is one month and she just slept for 7 1/2 hours. And I had to wake her up even because I was so engorged it woke me up.
We see the pediatrician on Monday for her one month check up, but should I be concerned that she slept that long without waking up?? Longest sleep stretch she usually has is only 4 hours....

My daughter was 3 weeks old, went 8 hours before waking up to eat...at the same time she transitioned to sleep all night and being up for a good part of the day...I say you’re quite lucky, but it doesn’t hurt to ask!!!

If your baby is gaining weight and healthy.....let that baby sleep! So you can sleep too!
But I feel your pain on being engorged !

You can try nursing baby while she sleeps without waking her up. I've done it successfully a couple times, but usually there's a dirty diaper so I have to change her and she wakes up.
Being engorged is awful and I'm so afraid of getting clogged ducts I wake her up to eat. I won't go longer than 5 hours at night, 3 during the day.

My 7 week old went from 4 hours stretches last week to 5-6 the past two nights. As long as he’s gaining weight and producing wet/dirty diapers I was told to let him sleep!

My LO is 6 weeks she just started sleeping 7hrs at night. Im not to concerned my first baby did the same thing around this time.

We just had the same transition. I’m taking it as a win and cluster feeding during the day for as long as this lasts.
