Do Mormons visit houses after dark

Last night after dark I had two guys ring my doorbell. I didn’t open the door because I felt Like it was odd and red flags went up in my head. I asked them who they were. They said they’re from the church and I told them that it’s after dark and I’m not opening my door

It depends. They go by hours not time of day so if it gets dark early then yeah they’ll still probably knock after dark

Only if they are asked to come by for teaching. Most are done by 6 or whenever sunset is.

They are are not supposed to knock after 6 pm or after sunset whichever comes later. They do visit homes of people they are actively teaching in the evening hours.

Sometimes it’s after dark depending if it’s daylights savings and stuff.  they have a curfew of 8 or 9 I believe and need to be back at their apartments.

I had Mormons doing a mission/retreat/idk what in my area and they rented a house on my street. We became friends of sorts and they said they aren't even supposed to knock on doors. They just walked around places like public parks and spoke to people. Maybe that was just their church. But either way, they don't come around at night. You made the smart choice
